Cyproconazole provides excellent control of rust diseases in cereals, coffee leaf rust, and various powdery mildews. Its systemic action makes it particularly effective against these economically important pathogens in multiple crops.
The fungicide is absorbed and translocated within plant tissues, protecting both treated and new growth. This systemic movement enables curative action against existing infections and provides longer-lasting protection than contact fungicides alone.
The product mixes well with many fungicides and insecticides, but always conduct a compatibility test first. Follow recommended mixing orders and avoid alkaline mixtures that could reduce product stability.
The fungicide performs well across a range of conditions but shows optimal activity when temperatures are between 50-80°F. Rainfall within 2 hours of application may reduce efficacy by washing off unabsorbed product.
Applicators should wear chemical-resistant gloves, protective eyewear, long-sleeved clothing, and shoes plus socks. A NIOSH-approved respirator may be required for certain application methods or durations.
